5 Capitals is an Environmental Consultancy headquartered in Dubai with offices in Madrid and Bangkok. We are currently recruiting a French-speaking Environmental & Social Consultant for our Office in Madrid.
The post of Environmental Consultant requires a motivated, enthusiastic environmental professional with an Environmental or Social Sciences degree, preferably a Masters degree qualification and several years experience in EIA/ESIA and other environmental and social reports. It is important the candidate can communicate well in English and is fluent in written (technical) and spoken French.
The position requires a range of project related duties, including desk studies and report writing, technical surveys and project co-ordination roles. It could also include travel to the Middle East, Africa and SE Asia as required by the projects. The successful candidate will work within the Environmental Planning team on ESIAs/EIAs, E&S audits, LTA Due Diligence, ESMSs and other studies and opportunities.
The candidate will be a self-starter and demonstrate experience of working in a small team including working under pressure to meet Client deadlines.
Required language skills:
– French – Native speaker or full professional proficiency (studies undertaken in French or several years of working experience);
– Full professional proficiency in English is essential;
– Arabic speaking or another third language would be an advantage but is not essential.
