As a .NET/C# Software Engineer for the Software Engineering group located in Rabat, you will be the responsible for the design, implementation and integration of software and hardware components to match the needs of Gemalto’s worldwide customer portfolio for ePassports, ID-cards, healthcare documents and citizen biometric registration systems. Develop and validate the application set such as eDriving Licences and ICAO compliant applications, biometric match on Cards, IAS, PKIs and other government program applications.
A week in the life of a .NET/C# Software Engineer:
- You will analyse customer requirements, perform feasibility study, provide technical proposal, and contribute to project specifications requirements
- You will be responsible for the development of the complete solution on customer premises worldwide.
- You will produce all the documentation related to these activities.
- You will participate in the design, implementation, security and validation of applications within a project team structure, in accordance with institutionalized processes and delivery standards.
- You will train the customer on application use and administration.
- You will follow-up the delivered project during warranty and support phase (Support Level 3).
- You will be involved in pre-sales activities, like technical assistance to sales team, giving technical workshops to customers.
Desired Skills and Experiences
- To succeed at this job, you must have at least 5 to 6 years’ experience in programming (SW Development).
- You must have 3 years of work in development of desktop application with .NET
- We would like someone to join our team who has good knowledge of .NET platform and related technologies (WPF, WCF,XAML)
- You must be able to get quickly oriented in existing solutions and technologies, and must be able to come up with new solutions, design and present the architecture
- You must be willing to travel abroad (occasionally, short/medium duration)
- You must be fluent English
- You must have an engineer diploma in Information Technology or Computer Science.
