Hexcel is currently seeking an EHS Coordinator for our Midparc FTZ plant, Casablanca, Morocco location.
APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS:
The selected individual will be responsible for but not limited to the following obligations:
• Development and execution of training plans related to HS&E.
• Ensure compliance with Hexcel Corporate, Local, National and European regulations
• Development and implementation of compliant waste management and control methods
• Control of external contractors related to HS&E
• Communication and interface with HS&E authorities and governing bodies
• HS&E reporting as applicable
• Focal point for resolution of customer safety issues as applicable
• Development and implementation of Safety Improvement plans and Waste minimization plans.
• Conducting machine safety assessments and supporting the implementation of corrective actions
• Conduct internal and external audits as required
• Conducting Job hazard analysis, PHA, HAZOP/LOPA, LOTO and support implementation of risk reduction methods
• Contribute effectively in cross-functional improvement activity
• Create and maintain HS&E documentation when required by regulatory bodies, customers or internal systems
• Assure compliance to required systems and procedures
• Any task set by the HS&E Manager and/or the Plant Manager that is supporting the HS&E Department function
Qualifications:
• University degree
• Experience of 5 years in similar position in industrial companies or 5 years as HS consultant
• Experience in Environmental Coordination activities, legislation and waste control is preferred
• Passion for continuous improvement
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred
• Good knowledge of ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, etc.
• Good communication and interaction skills.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
• Language: Arabic / Darija – Fluent, French- Fluent, English- working level
