With Private Sector Partnerships (PSP) operating actively in the MENA region since 2011, the Leadership Giving (LG) pipeline has been gradually yet significantly growing. This means that Morocco is anticipated to join these efforts and gain new local HNWI, Major Donors, Corporations, and Foundations to help UNHCR diversify sources of income and maximize / sustain PSFR results on annual basis.
- Duties and Responsibilities:
Under the overall supervision of the Senior PSP Officer based in Dubai and in close collaboration with the UNHCR Representative and Associate External Relations Officer in Morocco, the individual contractor will assist in the following:
- Carry out analysis of the local market and provide recommendations on market viability and potential prospects.
- Perform research through external sources for new prospects.
- Obtain market data based on surveys and research, and provide necessary analysis.
- Create reports by pulling data from the CRM system that suit the needs of different stakeholders and constituents.
- Provide insight to data by developing easy to understand, and actionable recommendations based on the analyses described above.
- Identify potential private sector donors based on the research and develop relationships with those that have the potential to further UNHCR’s cause in terms of raising awareness and funds as well as advocating for refugees.
- Developing and executing appeals to potential private sector donors with products aimed at corporations, HNWIs and foundations.
- Draft proposals and concept notes tailored for various potential private sector donors, according to specific themes and monetary values.
- Provide feedback and reports to private sector donors on projects that they are contributing to.
- Collaborate with stakeholders within the partnerships team as well as the rest of the organization to gather requirements for analysis / analytics/ reporting projects.
- Coordinating online fundraising campaigns and supporting offline fundraising activities
- Perform other related duties as required.
