Kalmar Maghreb within the leading global supplier of container & load handling equipment and services, is seeking an Electrical and automation technician for the Project Tangier med 2 familiar with Marine port operations.
Head Shift Service Technician position will be responsible for the day-to-day operations and supervision of a team of service employees for providing maintenance and repair service to all brands of container handling equipment at customer locations, with a focus the electrical and mechanical components for all container handling equipments.
Main Tasks And Responsibilities

- Provide the technical support to team
- Manage the team work and panning task assigned
- Provide the daily report of daily activities.
- Provide the solutions and analyze the breakdowns with teams to develop the equipment reliability
- Providing timely diagnostics/repair for the Kalmar product lines located in the field at customer sites.
- Conduct regularly scheduled preventative maintenance
- Ability to use hand, air and electrical tools; operate forklifts, small cranes and mechanical hoists as needed
- Conduct product training for the customer and dealer technicians
- Evaluate and assist with warranty claims
- Work with product engineering to develop solutions to operational problems in the field
- Assist personnel in the field with job related documentation
- Achieve a high level of customer satisfaction
- Diagnostic and troubleshooting of PLC and Electrical equipment
- Ability to use instruments such as multimeter, ammeter, oscilloscope, and pressure gauges
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics
- Comfortable working at elevated heights
- Technical aptitude for heavy equipment
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong work ethic, dependability and initiative
We expect from you

- Deploma (automation and electrical technician or mechanical )
- Minimum of 3 years experience in heavy industrial equipment
- Has a proven experience as a team leader
- Proven experience using Microsoft office
- Has a good knowledg on the KPI’s
- Preference will be given to those with advanced technical training and/or Kalmar specific equipment experience
- Valid Driver’s License and passport
