Hexcel is currently seeking a Program Manager for our Casablanca plant, Morocco location.
The selected individual will be responsible for but not limited to the following obligations:
- Ensure robust and effective New Product Introduction (NPI) and Work Package Transfer (WPT) plans are adhered to in each Hexcel EAP Core and Engineered Core facility.
- Identify, monitor and track project issues and risks with the project team on a regular basis.
- Ensure appropriate levels of reporting are provided both internally to stakeholders and externally on progress to plan for all elements of NPI, WPT and other projects as assigned.
- To monitor change control within NPI & WPT and ensure procedures are successfully employed
- Support forecast management, order book management, rate readiness & business case tracking
- Support various S&M business processes. Not limited to SIOP, STRAP, Plan & LE review.
- Collaborate Indirectly with cross functional responsibility including but not limited to Engineering, Production, Sales & Marketing, HR, and Finance
- Definition and implementation of KPI’s to track performance for delivery of NPI and WPT on budget and on time.
- Delivery of NPI and WPT in line with business targets.
- Regular reporting of performance and progress to stakeholders and internal and external customers.
- Support reviews of Forecast, Order Book monitoring, Rate readiness and Business case tracking.
- Travel to customers and Hexcel locations as required.
- Effective people management of indirect resources
- All functions at Hexcel’s Core and Engineered Core locations including but not limited to Operations, Quality, Engineering, Finance, Human Resources.
- Work closely with local plant manager & Sales & Marketing Manager to ensure NPI, WPT priorities are aligned.
- Work closely with local plant manager and Sales & Marketing Manager to ensure “life of program” Business case analysis is available.
- Organize and lead local Project team meetings.
- Hexcel Customers and other external Stakeholders
Qualifications:
- Engineering, Science or Technical Degree.
- PRINCE2 (or equivalent)
- Project management leadership, ideally 3+ years in a cross functional environment.
- Aerospace industry is preferred, but not essential.
- Demonstrated competency of leading cross functional teams
- Results orientation with strong written and oral communication skills
- Fluent using MS Project (or equivalent)
- Organised, dynamic and self-motivated
- Skilled negotiator with excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to influence and manage competing priorities in a matrix organization.
- Able to travel as required.
- English & French are required
