    Job Purpose & Scope

    The Cooperate Giveaway Specialist  is responsible for the sales, administration, savings and management of key client promotional merchandise and gifting.  The Cooperate Giveaway Specialist manages daily activity including quoting, order processing, quality of delivery, project management and all communications on key account.

    The Cooperate Giveaway Specialist will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of the regional promo business, will provide support to the account team and will be an intermediary between Client Manager and the promo team.

    The Cooperate Giveaway Specialist will be required to align with the Client Direction and Operations teams to ensure that Promo is delivering within the required SLA’s and contractual agreements. It is imperative that the AM, in conjunction with the Client Director and relevant account teams, develop, manage, expand the relationships with existing customers by continuously proposing solutions that meet their objectives.

    Principal Duties and Responsibilities

    • Management of the corporate client account holistically, including client, supplier and staff management
    • Work with approved suppliers to source appropriate product at the best value, and quoting efficiently, ensuring client savings and best practice sourcing
    • Operational management including conflict resolution, operational and delivery issues, risk management and escalations
    • Understands and interprets supplier ability, matching services to required needs
    • Working closely with the Supply Chain management team to proactively manage suppliers and perform periodic reviews
    • Overall project management of the promo and client account, ensuring operational excellence in close co-operation with all-key stakeholders.
    • Day-to-day account administration with a focus on efficiency, cost saving, delivery and targets
    • delivery of monthly, quarterly and annual volume targets
    • financial management including engaging with accounts payable queries, invoicing and general account financial management
    • Ensures that processes and procedures are put in place and aligned with Point’s culture and Operational Programs implemented, continue to roll out with excellence.
    • Engage with Client Director, supporting the corporate client account strategy
    • Provide a support structure to Account Executives and ensure they are provided with the tools to reach their objectives.
    • Ensures and improves the efficiency and quality of administrative support and work systems.
    • Ensures appropriate process documentation is in place.
    • Reporting and analytical review of client account

    Desired Skills & Experience

    1.     Education and Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree / qualification or equivalent experience required
    • Minimum of 5 years professional experience in the promo/corporate gifting industry
    • Professional Experience in Snr Account Management or Account Management position
    • Supplier Management and sourcing
    • Import and Export experience an advantage
    • Experience with large blue chip clients that have exceptionally high trade volumes
