The social Media specialist for our Team will lead the social media support strategy in order to boost visibility and customers engagement. This typically involves managing an organization’s online presence by developing a strategy, producing good content, analyzing usage data, facilitating customer service and managing projects and campaigns, new customers acquisition.
Main Responsibilities
- Use social media to engage with a community of fans/followers online
- Engage the online community and encourage the new customers acquisition
- Stay up-to-date on the latest developments in communication/PR strategies, social media and online communities
- Create, schedule and develop weekly content plans for all social media portals, including: Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.
- Create and implement a dynamic content strategy for the department social media platforms (Facebook, YouTube, forums) to reach these goal
- Proactively provide support to educate the community about our platform
- Manage certain video content
- Keep well informed of comptétitor marketing initiatives and promotions
- Work cooperatively with key team members
- Reach objectives for social media, including growth, reach, engagement & lead.
- Monitor trends in social media and respond when required to these trends
- Other duties may include: assist with other relevant tasks as specified by the Head of Department, these may include: advertising, event organization, campaign creation and training days.
Required Skills & Qualifications :
- Degree in Marketing.
- From 1 to 3 years experience
- Social Media skills – Knowledge of top social media platforms including usage of social media best practices and community guidelines.
- Understanding of what makes a stand out social support experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer applications
- Working experience in a social Media Role with be a plus
