As a Customer Service Assistant, you will work closely with our sales team to provide them with the essential support they need to do their job quickly and effectively. This will include providing them with critical information about ordering, stock levels, pricing, procurement and more. Ideal candidates will have a strong track record of working in customer facing roles for an engineering or production company.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supporting sales people with information regarding material need forecasting, variation orders and spares management of stock levels for upcoming projects
  • Working closely with channel partners to identify, qualify and develop sales opportunities Manage order process and submit to customer service.
  • Check customer orders for accuracy in terms of content and price.
  • Manage and provide quotations and orders.
  • Resolving customer queries and issues in a timely manner.
  • Communicating with the Customer Service team to ensure that orders are placed in a timely manner.
  • Liaising with customer’s forwarders to ensure goods are picked up and dispatched on time
  • Following up with customers to ensure completion of collections
  • Updating SalesForce in accordance with information gathered from sales and customers
  • Identifying and tracking the root causes pertaining to Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) and developing corrective action where required
  • Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Check customer orders for accuracy in terms of content and price.
  • Sending request for payment

REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous experience in customer facing roles
  • Previous experience in engineering or production company
  • Logistics or International Trade degree
